The Valley of the Kings is remarkably accurate depiction of the valley in 1838. The man with the drawing pad is likely a self portrait of Roberts. Subscription edition, 1840s, approximately 14" x 20" image size. This limited edition lithograph was hand colored and mounted on a 17" by 24", heavy stock paper. Very good condition.
