The colossal statue of Rameses II, in the Ramesseum, was the inspiration for Shelly's poem, Ozymandias. Subscription edition, 1840s, approximately 9.5" x 13.5" image size. This limited edition lithograph was hand colored and mounted on a 17" by 24", heavy stock paper.
